As well as an abundance of local walks. Whitegate is only a 15-minute walk from Sheveling Wine Estate at Holmfirth Vineyard. You can enjoy a nice glass of their locally produced wine, wine tour, an afternoon tea, or even book yourself a table and enjoy a fine menu.
Or take a short stroll from the campsite to Coddy’s Farm Shop which stocks a range of local meat produce. Whether it’s to pick up a couple of sausages for the BBQ or a nice steak, Coddy’s can fulfil your needs.

EXPLORING THE SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE
Our caravan & camp site is the ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside and its natural beauty.
There are many walks with stunning views, some of which have been featured on Countryfile.
If its cycling you are looking for; there are many cycling routes available locally – the most famous of which has to be Route 68!
Route 68 is the two-wheeled equivalent of the Pennine Way for walkers – except at 355 miles (571km) the Pennine Cycleway is almost 100 miles long.
